The Challenge
To diagnose and resolve operational issues in a pilot plant designed to recover precious metals from spent catalysts. The facility, originally designed and built by third parties, was not achieving the expected performance levels during the leaching process.
The main challenge was to identify the root causes of inefficiencies in an operating plant by analyzing both the original design and real operating conditions, ensuring the technical and economic viability of the process.
The Solution
EIA21 carried out a comprehensive technical assessment of the pilot plant based on operational testing and a detailed evaluation of the leaching process performance.
